but the songs in rapunzel were mostly forgettable, i do like the flower song, but its terribly short, just a verse really =/

oh well, other than that its a fun movie, great rewatch value like all good disney films. something bugs me though, everytime i look at the horse, i keep thinking of james marsden(prince edward) in enchanted for some reason or another lol

so as stated in my previous post, my 21st birthday was pretty miserable. spent most of the day in bed nursing my poor aching head :( good thing i already got my present on saturday! so i had something to occupy me while i wallow in bed...

i've been reading alot ever since i got this, so much easier reading ebooks on a kindle as compared to a computer screen. only drawback is that the screen isn't backlit, so i can't read in bed at night with the lights off, but then again, that is precisely why it causes less eye fatigue compared to reading on the computer so the con is kind of a pro too -shrugs- can't have everything i guess.

there's a small detail that bugs me though, there's no way to use custom screensavers without jailbreaking the thing. i don't understand why that is, its just custom screensavers right? oh well, doesn't have any effect on the usage, and really the default images aren't too bad, i just have this inexplicable need to personalize all my gadgets(which is why my phone, laptop and ipod all have custom, drawn-by-me wallpapers regardless of how cute some of the defaults are) so it bugs me a little. i'm hoping they'll release an update or smth soon that'll allow that though, so keeping my fingers crossed.

can't really tell from the picture, but this cake is HUGE. i have no idea why, because i've had 1kg cakes before, but this cake is just bigger than usual. i had it everyday for a week straight before managing to finish the damn thing, makes me kind of sick of cake now X( it was pretty yummy though, just a little...much. terribly sinful too, i'm still trying to run the weight off lol
