OMG I'M OLD *O* <==(the scream face)

After working for close to 5months(wow time really flies doesn't it?) I've mostly settled into a comfortable routine of work-eat-sleep(repeat mon-fri). And I've been doing a lot of thinking... Work has been mostly enjoyable so far despite the OTs most days of the week(bad thing about the flexible working hours of designers is that we don't get paid for overtime T_T) because I actually like what I do. There are still moments of doubt and frustration when the inspiration just doesn't come and I fall back into paranoia and insecurity and start wondering if I'm just a big fraud who doesn't have a clue how to do my job. But it passes mostly without event. I suppose I'm learning to manage my emotions better, can't always act like a wreck whenever things don't go smoothly after all, suppose its all part and parcel of being an adult.

Sigh I'm really starting to feel old =/ bit early to be getting quarter life crisis isn't it? lol

Anyway, had my first yoga class today. Didn't know simply stretching can be so exhausting lol arms and shoulders are totally aching right now. But it felt really good! Totally enthusiastic about subsequent lessons now ^_^

Alright, nothing much more to update about my boring life, so I shall sign off and go do my nails now =P

storywise was pretty typical of the previous installations, enjoyable, entertaining but pretty forgettable. mostly watching it for johnny depp♥. the special effects were pretty good though, all the underwater shots were pretty and i loved the mermaids!(or maybe i just like mermaids in general haha) overall i think it was well worth the $8 ticket, thoroughly entertained throughout the 2hrs.

had dinner at sushi tei with junn after the movie, sashimi+sushi+macha ice cream = yummy yummy yummy♥

finally gonna get my haircut tmr! heatwave + long thick hair does not a pretty mane make =( the sun has been frying and frizzing out my hair making it more bushy and uncontrollable than usual. gonna try out hair inn (recommended by junn!)

but before that, i'm going to get a new phone! as those who know me is aware, i'm not really a heavy phone user so i usually don't have alot of requirements when getting a new mobile so long as its pretty, not too expensive and preferably a decent camera. it was with this in mind that i got my current phone, and i was pretty happy with it until recently despite the laggy screen and choppy reception since it was really pretty XD

but when it decides to break down, it breaks pretty damn spectacularly =.=''' i don't even know if it can still be called a phone since the main function that makes it a phone, namely making/receiving calls, is totally dead. the other things like camera and messaging still works but its totally silent now, i don't even hear a dialing tone when i make calls =/ and all this within a week!(i last made a successful call last saturday) i guess this is the pitfall of seldom using my phone, didn't realise its already this bad until i tried to make a call today lol

in sharp contrast, my previous phone which mummy is using now, has been in use for about 4years? survived multiple drops on hard ground and still going strong!(albeit with battle scars and missing a button, but its not a critical one so its still usable!) sigh, old phones really are better.

didn't want to announce it on fb for now since before i sign nothing is official yet. would probably post an update tomorrow after everything is in black&white. for now, just a small little announcement here where no one reads =P
